Av-check-online-scan.com is a website that no one would probably visit voluntarily, but it is “promoted” by the same named browser hijacker. The website has fraudulent nature: it pushes visitors into buying useless program by means of scare tactics. Once visitor is brought on av-check-online-scan.com, he receives misleading pop-ups. The messages loaded by av-check-online-scan.com hijacker demands purchasing some software for removing viruses found by the website. Av-check-online-scan.com doesn’t have access to visitors’ computers; it fabricates the pop-ups in order to intimidate people. Falsified pop-ups are used by many malicious websites, but this one puts even more efforts to make people buy malware. Av-check-online-scan.com displays erotic pictures that are supposedly loaded from visitor’s machine. It offers buying WinSpywareProtect or some other program for removing the compromising evidences.
