AVG-Online-Scanner.com is yet another browser hijacked employed for promoting fake security tools. It redirects victims to avg-online-scanner.com website and offers purchasing Web Spy Shield, WinSpywareProtect or Antivirus Scanner programs. None of them are real security tools; in other words: you pay for them but you get nothing in return.

Avg-online-scanner.com website loads fabricated system scan and supposedly locates infections on visitor’s machine. The website also loads porn photos as compromising material found on a computer. All of these alerts are just scare tactics to make people purchase rogue programs. The website is dangerous for one more reason: it automatically infects visitors with other malwares. If there are no real time security tools on visitor’s computer, it is infected secretly.
