Created by a group called The Omega Crew. Written in Visual Basic. Variants appeared from March 1999 to September 2001. Affects Windows 95 and Windows 98. Windows NT is immune. Such simple but effective spyware is used by hackers for getting remote access to user’s computer and just for virtual hooliganism. The principle is quite simple: a “server� secretly installs itself on to your machine and the hacker connects through a “client� on his computer. This is the basic function of a RAT, but it also can have several other functions, which depend on the interests of the attacker.
