Originated in September 1999. This hacker tool was created by a Brazilian group called Chacara Corporation. This RAT installs a â€œbackdoorâ€? in victimâ€™s security, allowing the hacker to control the infected machine remotely and stay unnoticed. ). The principle of a RAT program is quite simple: the intruder infects the machine with a â€œserverâ€? program via the e-mail or File and Print Sharing system and can control it, using a â€œclientâ€? on his computer. Some RAT programs can be judged as a simple hooliganism, but some can seriously damage your system, or be the main cause of valuable information loss.
