This pest makes its copies in the root directories of C: and B: on the infected machine. The name of the created file is VIRUS.BAT. This trojan also modifies the AUTOEXEC.BAT file so it would run the VIRUS.BAT before running any other program. This simple but very effective procedure can do a wide variety of destructive actions, that is why it is greatly recommended not to allow BAT.282 to sneak into your machine.
