This BAT-trojan, which was created in 2003, uses improved technique of infecting target computer and making damage to it. As follows from its name, BAT.SpamAcid changes several system and internet settings in order to start sending annoying spam-messages. Spam usually isn't annoying only, but sometimes it also can strongly decrease user's work productivity.
