BDE is an adware program that displays animated commercial advertisements. Some of its functions can be remotely controlled by the publisher. BDE can get into the system along with some add-supported software or can be manually installed. Once executed, it creates several directories, installs files and modifies the registry, so that it runs on evevery Windows startup. BDE has the ability to update itself via the Internet.
