This malicious program usually compromises the user's privacy strongly. After performing several specific actions (which consist of changing various system settings and attempts to connect to the Internet), this pest gives the hacker a remote control over the infected machine and the ability of performing different actions (usually destructive and harmful). This hacker gets access to the user's confidential data and can freely use this data for his or her specific needs.
