bestscanpc.info is a fake online anti-malware scanner designed to promote the rogue anti-spyware program System Security 2009. It displays false scan results and fake but legitimately looking security alerts with information about various dangerous infections including Trojan viruses, spyware and adware. Most of the time, bestscanpc.info hijacks Internet Explorer browser. It changes browser's configuration and redirects the user of the infected computer to the homepage of System Security 2009. The main goal is of course to trick users into purchasing this program. However, we strongly recommend not to do so.
