BestSearch is an adware with additional browser hijacker functionality. This parasite changes Internet Explorer default search page and serves undesirable commercial advertisements. BestSearch can be manually installed or may arrive with some ad-supported software. Once executed, it drops files into C:\Documents and Settings\[Current User]\Local Settings\Temp directory and alters the Windows registry in order to register itself as a web browser add-on.
