This dangerous RAT program provides the attacker a whole bunch of "useful" functions and tools that can turn the life of its victim into real hell. The virus can be used for virtual pranks (open/close CD-rom, turn off power, write a message, etc.) Although it has a "keylogger" ability, allowing it to log all keystroke in to a log file and send it to the intruder. It also has "dropper" abilities. Once in the system it downloads a bigger virus. The programming language is Delphi. Several variants appeared from March 1997 to September 2001. The infection peaked in United States, Australia, Germany, Israel, Russian Federation, Spain, and United Kingdom. The author is a hacker called Blade. You can also find this pest in the internet under such names as Blade Runner 0.80A.
