BlockKeeper is a misleading application that deliberately displays fake security alerts and gives false reports of threats or infections to convince you that your computer is infected with spyware, Trojans and other malicious software. The rogue program is from the family of Winisoft. At the moment there are 33 fake applications with identical graphical user interface and likely there will be more. Once installed, Block Keeper will supposedly scan your computer and prompt you to pay for a full version of the program to remove threats or infections that do not actually exist. This program is a scam, do not purchase it. Instead, you should uninstall BlockKeeper from your computer as soon as possible.
When running, BlockKeeper will constantly display fake security alerts stating that your computer is under attack by an Internet virus. It will also impersonate Windows Security Center and suggest you to activate Block Keeper malware in order to ensure full system protection.
To make things worse, this malware will hijack desktop and Internet Explorer. You will be redirected to various misleading websites full of fake product reviews or advertisements. Most likely, you won’t be able to use your anti-virus software or install a new one. This is done mostly to protect itself form being deleted. As you can see, this program is nothing more but a scam. If you are infected with this rogueware, please use the removal guide below to remove BlockKeeper from the system manually for free. If you have already purchased it, contact your credit card company and tell them what has happened.
