Type: Remote Administration Tools
Severity scale:Blue Adeptz severity is 55  (55 / 100)

The virus was written in Delphi programming language. The date of origination is November 2002. The principle of such RAT programs is quite simple: the hacker infects his victim's machine with a "server" program. Once inside the system it opens a default port TCP 6969 and awaits hacker commands. The intruder communicates with the infected system via a "client" program on his own machine. The functions of a RAT can vary, depending on the needs of the attacker. This program has a “backdoor function, allowing the intruder to bypass the security. And it uses "trojan" abilities to infiltrate the system.
