Several variants of this RAT appeared in the internet from May 2000 to September 2001. The author of this virus is a hacker called Napalm. This RAT affects only Windows 95 and windows 98 operating systems. It uses TCP/IP protocol to spread. The prime function of this program is gaining the hacker unauthorized remote access and control of other people's computers. A â€œserverâ€? allows the intruder to connect via a â€œclientâ€? on his own machine. The functions of a RAT may vary, depending on the needs of the hacker. Some RATs canâ€™t really harm your PC and the only purpose they were made for is hooliganism. But some versions can steal vital information, delete files and even crash your system.
