The author of this RAT is a Lithuanian hacker called Optiva. It is
written in Delphi. Originated in February 2002. The interesting thing
is, that antivirus programs do not detect this Remote Administration
Tool. Its purpose is unauthorised remote control of other people's
computers. It works by a simple but effective principle: the hacker
infects the machine with a "server" program via the e-mail or File and
Print Sharing system and can control it, using a "client" on his
computer. The virus was written in Delphi programming language.
