This RAT program was created using Delphi programming language. The
author is Vincent Alstee. THe pest originated in December 2002. The
place of origination is France, and the interface is also written in
French. RAT viruses function by a simple principle: the hacker infects
his victim's PC via the e-mail or File and Print Sharing with a
"server" program. This program opens a default port and awaits commands
from the attacker. The intruder communicates with the "server" via a
"client" program on his PC.

From the publisher: "Un troyen, c'est un programme qu'on vous aura
envoyÃš sur IRC ou via email, et qui cache son vÃšritable rÂ¶le ( genre :
fausse erreur au dÃšmarrage, ... ) , et qui lorsqu'il est exÃšcutÃš en
fait, s'installe en mÃšmoire et s'arrange pour Ã›tre exÃšcutÃš Ã“ chaque
dÃšmarrage de la machine. Ce qu'il permet dÃžs lors, c'est de contrÂ¶ler
votre ordinateur Ã“ distance Ã“ partir d'internet : vous faire rebooter,
vous faire envoyer des fichiers, executer des programmes , etc ...
Ãšvidemment un tel programme une fois installÃš, il est assez difficile
pour le nÃšophyte ou mÃ›me pour l'utilisateur moyen de l'enlever."
