BTV is a dialer that connects your computer to the Internet via high-cost phone number using a modem. This parasite must be manually installed. Sometimes it arrives in attachments to advertising e-mails. Once executed, BTV creates a directory, drops its files there and modifies the Windows registry to register itself as the default Internet connection service. BTV doesn't damage your computer, but its activity may result in enormous phone bills.

I got rid of this through a different method. Check it out.

I firstly stopped all running processes of BTV. I then deleted the folder BTV. Once I had done this I opened up regedit and did a search on BTV and deleted all hits it gave me. this took around 5 searches, possibly more before it came back empty. I then ran a program called Hijack This and deleted the entry relating to "breg", it was a java entry. I cannot remeber the full line unfortunately. At this point I restarted and it aint come back. Oh and pls remember to back up your registry before doing this, but im shure you already know this.
