Worm Bumerang is a very dangerous parasite, which spreads in local area networks. It searches for computers with shared resources and infects all executables there. When a user executes one of these files, the worm installs itself to the system and starts a payload. It terminates some system processes and tries to erase computer's built-in software and damage all the data on hard disks. As a result, the infected computer may hang and will not boot. In some cases an affected computer cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced.
