Busky is a new Trojan Downloader, identified as a Browser Helper Object which damaged many Internet users lately.
Browser Helper Object (BHO) is an add-in which provides or expands the functionality of the Microsoft Internet Explorer Web browser and allows improving it with new features. BHO is not a bad program by itself, but using as the installer these features it has been targeted by hackers to install malware. Toolbars such as the Google or Yahoo are good BHOs but some of them are used for monitoring your web browsing or changing different banner ads as you surf the Web.

Trojan.Busky.B is known to enter PCs via questionable scripts held in JavaScript or VBS. Also it is known that unsafe Internet surfing, exploits of operating system and web browsers, downloading and installing of Freeware and Shareware, visiting questionable web sites can be the ways to get Trojan.Busky.EH. After Busky has infected the PC, the user sees those signs: the computer works extremely slow, new shortcuts on desktop appears, the address of a homepage changes, pop-ups keep showing.

The most important thing about this rogue program is to remove it as soon as possible.
