C Components is a rename of Control Components scareware. Just like its predecessor, CComponents rogue program is promoted through the use of Trojans and other malicious software. Once installed, it will scan your computer and display a list of false system security threats or infections to make your think that your computer is infected with malware. Don't trust this bogus program and uninstall it from your computer as soon as possible. The main goal of C Components is to trick you into purchasing the rogue program. It won't make your computer more secure nor it will remove any supposedly found infections.

When running, it will display fake warnings about serious computer problems or infections. Don't worry about that too much because just like the false scan results, those fake warnings were made to scare you into thinking that your computer is infected.
