CD-ROM Trojan is a malicious program that allows the attacker to control CD-ROM drive of the infected computer. It is quite simple and provides only few functions. The server part of CD-ROM Trojan starts automatically on every system startup and remains loaded into memory. It is able to open or close CD-ROM tray and display a simple text message. Some rare versions of this parasite exist, which can perform other annoying actions and take screenshots of user activity. Although CD-ROM Trojan is quite harmful, it is recommended to completely remove it from the system, prohibiting unauthorized remote access to your computer.
