CleanPCTool is yet another rogue scam, a clone of StorageProtector. This parasite masquerades as a performance optimizer - the second most popular rogue type - but is actually no different than any other such scam. CleanPCTool infects the system by using trojans, such as Zlob, and floods the user with popups and fake system notifications to scare him into buying the fake full version of the program.

CleanPCTool is made on the same template as a number of other rogues, such as AVSystemCare and StorageProtector. CleanPCTool is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block cleanpctool.com using your HOSTS file.
