Control Commander is a rogue anti-spyware program that reports false system security threats to scare you into thinking that your computer is infected with malware. This rogue program is promoted through the use of Trojans that usually come from fake online scanners and other malicious websites. Once installed, ControlCommander performs fake system scan and reports false threats or infections. Then it asks to pay for a full version of the program to remove the infections which of course don't even exist. Don't purchase it and uninstall this bogus from your computer upon detection.

When running, Control Commander constantly displays fake security alerts and notifications from Windows Task Bar stating that your computer is badly infected or that your sensitive information can be stolen. Of course, that's not true. Furthermore, this fake program may block legitimate programs and hijack Internet Explorer so that you can't easily download and install reputable anti-malware programs. Without a doubt, you should remove Control Commander from your computer upon detection. If you have already purchased this bogus program then you should contact your credit card company and dispute the charges.
