Dabora is an Internet worm that spreads by e-mail in messages with spoofed addresses and fake links, which should lead to virtual postcards, but instead silently download and install the parasite. Once executed, Dabora downloads and executes a variant of dangerous Bancos pest designed to steal various passwords, login names and account details of financial web sites. Then it runs a spreading routine. The worm gathers e-mail addresses from the Windows Address Book and uses own mail engine to distribute malicious letters written mostly in Portuguese. Dabora automatically runs on every Windows startup.
