This malicious parasite usually infects the system through IRC network, after a careless user accepts suspicious DCC file transfer proposal. After this happens, this pest infects IRC client and starts performing other harmful actions, such as disabling antiviral protection. What is more, Dark IRC can also give the anonymous hacker a remote access to the PC and, as a result of this, an ability of carrying different destructive actions (like stealing passwords or changing critical system components).

• Allows remote user connection
• Sends out logs by FTP or email
• Logs keystrokes
• Connects itself to the internet
• Hides from the user
• Stays resident in background
