DiskHelper seems to be another fake defragmenter from this huge family of scams that report about hard disk errors. Earlier released its variants are Good Memory, Fast Disk or Disk OK and many other copies that mostly differ each from other in name. DiskHelper applies the same propagation methods just like its relatives and the most typical one is to get installed through the use of Trojans. These Trojans reach a potential host computer via security exploits or corrupt files foolishly presented as video codecs or flash updates.
