Dlder is a spyware program that submits Internet usage information to a server. It will also submit personal information, such as an IP address, the Web browser used and others.
The DlDer spyware-trojan can be installed with LimeWire, Kazaa, Grokster and some other software packages.
DlDer spyware-trojan intention was to be an on-line lottery game with an adware component, that had to display advertisement and offers.
But the way it was implemented made anti-spyware vendors consider it a spyware-trojan. Do note that DlDer is NOT a virus, as it doesn't spread.
