HOW CAN I GET INFECTED WITH Eazel Search virus?
Eazel Search virus is spread just like any other browser hijacker. Typically, it may enter your machine via spam or after visiting illegal website. Besides, it may also infiltrate your computer in a bundle with Eazel Smartbar, Eazelbar Helper or any other freeware. That's why security experts recommend avoiding such applications, or checking each of installation windows at least. Once you see an option: 'Make search.eazel.com my homepage' or similar, uncheck it! If Eazel Search virus manages to get inside your computer, it affects every Internet browser, which can be found there. You should immediately check your PC for this redirect virus if you find Search.eazel.com instead of your start page, default search engine and new tab page. HOW TO REMOVE EAZEL SEARCH VIRUS?
If you think that your PC is infected with Eazel Search virus, scan it with SpyHunter, STOPzilla or other updated anti-spyware to remove malicious files from the system. In addition, eliminate Eazel Smartbar, Eazelbar Helper or other related programs via Add/Remove Programs list. For that, click the 'Start' button -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs. Additionally, remove Search.eazel.com from your browsers:
Open Internet Explorer, go ‘Tools‘ -> ”Manage Add-ons’ -> ‘Toolbars and Extensions’. Here, look for Search.eazel.com and click 'uninstall'. Now open IE -> Tools -> Internet Option -> General tab. Enter Google or other address to make it the default start page.
Open Mozilla Firefox, go ‘Tools’ -> ‘Add-ons’ -> ‘Extensions’. Find Search.eazel.com and click ‘Uninstall’. Now go to Tools -> Options -> General -> Startup. Now select 'Show a blank page' when Firefox Starts or set a certain website, like Google or similar.
Click the Chrome menu button on the Google Chrome browser, select Tools -> Extensions. Here, look for Search.eazel.com extension and get rid of it by clicking on the Recycle Bin. Additionally, click on wench icon, go to settings and choose 'Manage search engines'. Change search engine to google or other and delete Search.eazel.com from the list. Then Go to section “On start” and make sure you get blank page while creating new tab.
