Egodktf Toolbar is another variant of the Zlob Toolbar (others include Enqvwkp Toolbar and Epxonwo Toolbar). This malicious toolbar is usually disguised as a media codec. The Egodktf Toolbar redirects the browser to rogue anti-spyware program websites and displays fake system notifications and popups "warning" the user of an infection. These scare tactics are employed to intimidate the user into buying the fake licensed version of whatever rogue program Egodktf Toolbar advertises.

None of the programs or services promoted by Egodktf Toolbar are to be trusted. It is a threat and should be removed upon detection.
