Emotigt Toolbar is yet another version of the infamous Zlob trojan - one of many in a row, all of them with equally unintelligible names. It masquerades as a legitimate toolbar, but is actually a parasite, which has the purpose to promote rogue anti-spyware programs. Emotigt Toolbar does this by hijacking the browser and redirecting the user to rogue scam websites, by displaying popups and fake system notifications to "inform" the user of a non-existent infection and by having four buttons that link to rogue anti-spyware websites.

None of the products and services promoted by Emotigt Toolbar are to be trusted, and the parasite itself should be removed upon detection.
