ErrorFix is a bogus Windows registry cleaner, fake system performance optimization tool. Usually, this program is advertised through the use of Trojans. When installed, these Trojans will constantly display fake warnings about registry and Windows runtime errors, corrupted DLL files, junk data, redundant files, invalid shortcuts and outdated help files. If you click on these alerts, it will then immediately take you to the ErrorFix homepage where you will be told that you have to purchase the program in order to fix all these errors.

Once ErrorFix is installed, it will be configured to scan your computer automatically when Windows starts up. The scan results, though, are all fake. The rogue displays these results in order to scare you into thinking that your computer has serious registry and runtime errors. What is more, Error Fix claims that all these problems will be removed after you purchase this program. However, that's not true. ErrorFix is a scam. Don't purchase it regardless of what this rogue program tells you.
