eXact Search Bar is a commercial Internet Explorer toolbar that displays advertisements when the user enters certain keywords into its search field. The program can update itself via the Internet. It doesn't spread and must be manually installed. Some ad-supported software may also add it to the system. Once executed, eXact Search Bar creates a directory, drops its files in it and modifies the Windows registry in order to register itself as a web browser add-on. The adware doesn't have dangerous payload.

That bullshit about uninstalling it by going to add/remove doesn't work! I've tried that and the search bar is still on my computer and I can't even delete it because it won't let me delete exact or the dll. files with it from my computer.

Go into safemode then delete the files this is if you are running widows XP. Windows locks all dll's in the system 32 folder so they dont get deleted or corrupt while the computer is running. When in safemode windows "unlocks" the files. Try it i bet it works :P

i got a seach bar installed and cant remove it, im trying other spyware prorgrams, very hard :( very sad, why people do this scam sw !!!

it doesnt appear at Add/Remove SW !!!!!
