Exedrop trojan (also known as W97M.Exedrop) is a dangerous malware. It is able to install additional malwares just like other similar trojans do, but Exedrop is much more difficult to notice and delete.

Exedrop spreads via infected MS Word files. Make sure MS Office is updated on your computer since updated versions usually have less exploits left.

Exedrop downloads and installs other computer parasites. Ferrychi trojan is the most common malware distributed by Exedrop. When infected MS Word document is opened, Exedrop is activated. The trojan infects other files created using MS Word, this way it reaches other computers.

Forvox.com website is known as ally of Exedrop. The trojan may secretly connect to the website and download additional malwares. Block forvox.com using your HOSTS file in order to avoid further infections.
