FamilyCam is a legitimate commercial product that allows parents to monitor their children activity by taking screenshots and logging program usage. However, the application also can be used by hackers for various malicious purposes, so it is classified as spyware. FamilyCam must be manually installed. It runs on every Windows startup.

FamilyCam properties:
• Takes and sends out screenshots of user activity
• Sends out logs by FTP or email
• Hides from the user
• Stays resident in background
