Fast Disk is a rogue application that reports fake hard drive errors and registry errors to make you think that there are many issues with your computer. This rogue is from the same family as My Disk and Disk OK. This rogue is promoted via Trojans that trick users into installing this bogus computer optimization program. Once active, it will pretend to scan your hard drive for errors and other problems. Fast Disk will display fake error warnings and notifications to make you think that there are numerous critical errors on your computer that should be fixed as soon as possible. It will also show fake error messages when you attempt to launch other programs. The rogue program will find numerous errors, usually eleven, but will not allow you to fix these errors unless you fist purchase the rogue program. It will supposedly fix six of them but to fix remaining errors you have to install advanced module which is paid. Without a doubt, Fast Disk is a scam. Do not be scared into purchasing the rogue program when you see its alerts. Instead, please use the removal instructions below to remove Fast Disk from the system manually for free or with an automatic removal tool given below.

When running, Fast Disk will state that your computer has numerous errors. You will see the following alerts:

Windows detected a hard drive problem.
A hard drive error occurred while starting the application.

It will also display fake pop ups saying that your private data is at risk or that your hard drive is missing. Some of the fake warnings read:

Low Disk Space
You are running very low disk space on Local Disk (C:).

As you can see, Fast Disk is not a legitimate program and has nothing to do with Windows disk defragmenter.
