Remove FireNet. Description and removal instructions

Title: FireNet

Type: Remote Administration Tools
Severity scale:FireNet severity is 55  (55 / 100)

The author of this pest is a hacker called Enjoi. The pest originated in October 2003. This RAT program uses the same basic principles that all RATs do: the victim's computer is infected with a server program, and the attacker can access it from a distant machine, using a client on his own. This pest uses such stealth techniques as "Trojan" and "backdoor" to infiltrate the system and stay unnoticed for a long period of time.

From the publisher:

"Ok, this was hurriedly clobbed together so I can't be bothered writing a decent text file. It's just a trojan, if you don't know what that is well... Google it!"
