FlashTrack, also known as FlashEnhancer, is an adware that downloads and displays commercial pop-up advertisements. It doesn't have dangerous payload. FlashTrack can be installed from certain web sites or may come with some ad-supported software. Once executed, the adware creates directories, drops its files and modifies the Windows registry to register itself as an Internet Explorer add-on. FlashTrack runs on every Windows startup. It includes the uninstaller.

FlashTrack/FTApp is the original version, with the program files being written to C:Program FilesFTApp (regardless of where your actual Program Files folder is). FlashTrack/flt, a newer variant, installs into C:Program Filesflt instead.
