Worm Fono is a very dangerous parasite, which spreads through IRC channels. It installs itself to the system and distributes infected files via mIRC chat program. It infects archived files, writes itself on removable disks and infects executables and system files. The worm places its files in lots of directories and hides some of them, so it is difficult to recognize and cure it. Fono has a payload: in some cases it can erase built-in computer software. Then the affected computer will be totally unoperatable.
