Click the Chrome menu button on the Google Chrome browser, select Tools -> Extensions. Here, look for FoodBuzz extension and get rid of it by clicking on the Recycle Bin. Additionally, click on wench icon, go to settings and choose 'Manage search engines'. Change search engine to google or other. Then Go to section “On start” and make sure you get blank page while creating new tab.

Good god! This thing was annoying.
Came with my PC, after opening 6 YouTube videos in different tabs, there were, in total, over 3000, yes, THREE THOUSAND ads blocked by AdBlock between them.
BTW, if anyone tells me adblock is amoral, I disagree, if you are using adblock, you clearly wouldnt buy anything in the ad in the first place or would be made LESS likely to buy it from said ad.
