FriendsBlog is an adware parasite that opens pornographic web sites without user consent and asks the user to register and pay a fee for certain adult services. Once executed, the threat displays a fake download progress window, which actually is an image with Japanese text in it. It also creates a web page file (with the .html extension) on the desktop. FriendsBlog is related to Japanese www.friends-blog.tv site.
