Gaghiel (also known as Gaggle) is an Internet worm that spreads by e-mail and through IRC channels. It installs itself to the system, modifies Internet Explorer settings and infects files of several web types (HTML, PHP, etc.). It overwrites files written in Visual Basic Script programming language with its copies and may display some messages. For spreading by e-mail the worm uses Microsoft Outlook mail program. It sends infected messages to all recipients in the Address Book.
