Galibot is a worm that spreads through network shares and various file sharing networks. The parasite monitors user Internet activity waiting for user to access certain banking web sites. When the user visit such a site, Galibot steals sensitive information and sends it to a predefined e-mail address. The worm disables the Task Manager and the Windows Firewall. It also blocks access to popular security-related web sites and terminates running antiviruses, firewalls and other protection software. Galibot secretly runs on every Windows startup.
