Gersoft.info is a browser hijacker which campaign is known to be based on the rogue antispyware, called System Security 2009. To achieve its malicious actions, Gersoft.info breaks in the poorly protected computer with a help of Trojan viruses, takes over the control of the web browser and then redirects it to the Gersoft.info website. After these fraudulent activities, when surfing the web, you are interrupted by annoying popup ads which aggressively promote System Security 2009. Gersoft.info informs about different parasites found in the PC system but the truth is that all these files are harmless or even important for the appropriate computer work.
