GuardWWW is a fake anti-spyware program that is promoted through the use of Trojans or other malicious software. It deliberately displays fake security alerts and reports false threats/infections to convince you that your computer is infected with Trojans, Worms and other viruses. The rogue program is from the same family as PcSecureNet, MyPcSecure and APcSafe. Usually, GuardWWW is promoted through the use of online anti-spyware scanners and bogus websites that supposedly provide free online videos. Once installed, it will scan your PC, display a list of false infections and ask you to pay for a full version of the program. However, don’t buy this bogus software and get rid of GuardWWW upon detection.

Once active, the rogue program will be configured to scan your computer each time you log on into Windows. However, the program only imitates real scan and reports false computer threats. It will then prompt you to pay for a full version of the software to remove the infections which don’t even exit. Furthermore, GuardWWW will display fake warnings and system notifications about serious infections and possible attacks. A typical fake notification reads:

What is more, this program will block anti-virus software and security related websites. It will also hijack web browsers and constantly display fake notifications about insecure connection and possible security threats. And the biggest problem is that this virus comes with trojan/rootkit TDSS. That’s why we strongly recommend you to download an automatic removal tool from this page an run a system scan. Without a doubt, Guard WWW is nothing more but a scam. Please use the removal instructions below to remove GuardWWW from your computer either manually for free or with an automatic remover.
