Although this malicious parasite, which was written in 1997, is quite old and unable to damage modern systems, it is still really dangerous because of its destructive actions. The main function of Havoc Trojan is providing its owner (the hacker) with a partial access to the infected machine; the hacker is able to perform a set of various actions, such as stealing passwords and logins.

Havoc Trojan properties:

• Sends out logs by FTP or email
• Logs keystrokes
• Connects itself to the internet
• Hides from the user
• Stays resident in background
