HDD OK is a rogue computer defragmentation tool that reports fake hard drive errors, registry errors and other system problems to scare you into thinking that there are issues with your computer. This rogue is from the same family as My Disk and Memory Fixer. HDD OK is distributed through Trojans that trick users into installing this bogus computer optimization program. Once installed, it will pretend to scan your hard drive and registry for errors. HDD OK will display fake error messages and pop-ups to make you think that there are numerous critical errors on your computer that should be fixed immediately. It will display fake error messages when you attempt to launch other program programs as well. The rogue program will find numerous errors but will not allow you to fix these errors unless you fist purchase the rogue program.
