Hot Canada is a premium rate phone dialer that uses your modem to dial toll numbers in order to access paid pornographic web sites.
After you run canada.exe, you are asked if you would like to visit a porno site, meanwhile a program invisibly downloads other harmful files and tries to execute them, and the process may spread further.

I am running windows 98 and Internet explorer 6.0.2800.1106. I updated Windows from the Microsoft yesterday.

I have seen a couple of sites which list the same steps as you do, but it never successfully removes the program. I can always find canada.exe in regedit and delete it, but as soon as I reconnect to the internet, the dialer is back.
Please help me.
