Httper is a browser hijacker that changes Internet Explorer default error page to a sponsor's site. The parasite may display unexpected commercial advertisements. It can silently update itself via the Internet. Httper is usually installed by certain parasites. The threat runs every time the user starts Internet Explorer.

• Changes browser settings
• Shows commercial adverts
• Connects itself to the internet
• Hides from the user
• Stays resident in background
