Spent 2 days trying to remove this bastard, until I reallized that the computer had 3 users. Ran Adware and Spyware S/W on only 2 of them. Of course, the problem was created by the 3rd user which was password protected. Ended up calling the customer to ask for the password. 5 minutes later I was glad of getting rid of Huntbar-IBIS Toolbar-TBPS.

OMFG this little annoying POS is by far the hardest piece of damn spyware to get off a comp. Everytime I kill the processes (which btw slows my comp down a lot) they restart up again. I cant delete it either.. because its in use. Ive tried several of the TOP spyware removal programs and not a single fucking one can remove it.

I successfully removed Huntbar from my PC. I tried using spyware removal programs to little avail. Then, I went to Add or Remove Programs on my computer and found a Huntbar related program. Sorry, but I forget the actual name of it. I then uninstalled it and have been Huntbar free for 3 days now. Good luck and I hope this helps.

I'm WATCHING huntbar multiply in it's directory, and every time I shut off the process in Windows Task Manager, it PROMPTLY restarts. I can't delete three of it's dll's because it's using them, and it is constantly making new files and folders. What IS THIS??!

Glad I read that before downloading spyhunter... anyone know of any software that deletes huntbar for sure?

I purchased spyhunter through this site. It will find huntbar, but will not remove it. I contacted eniga and filled out a trouble ticket. They replied it would be sometime in the future before their softwre could handle this problem.
Thats not right. I paid premium price for that software. I want my money back.

to John.
Go to enigmasoftwaregroup.com site. They are the makers of Spyhunter. Go to support section there, open the trouble ticket, describe your problem and it will be solved as soon as posible.

TrafficSyndicate, the makers of HuntBar, offer 'co-branded' versions of HuntBar which may be installed by other sites under a different name.

HuntBar sends the domain name of the site being viewed, the domain name of any site previously being viewed and the title and any keywords in the current page to its controlling servers whenever a new site is viewed. It does this even if the toolbar is not turned on.

However, it does not (currently) use a cookie or unique ID to track visits across sites.

HuntBar can silently download and execute arbitrary code, as an update feature.

Is the removal link a free software or do we have to pay.

I guess you have software which disables popups. Enable popups for this site, and the link will work. There is no any popup ads on this site so you can enable that feature for this site safely.
