Worm Lorena is written in Visual Basic Script. It distributes itself by several ways: it sends its copies to all e-mail addresses found in a system; it places infected files in shared directories of some file-sharing applications, so other users could download it; places copies to all available disks and removable media. The worm can also infect mIRC chat program and replicate itself through IRC channels. The Lorena deletes some antivirus programs and all the data on all hard disks several times per year.
